Minister: It’s necessary to make agriculture attractive for young people
"It is necessary to make agriculture in Azerbaijan attractive and profitable for young people," Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov said.
Report informs that he told at a panel session on the topic "Providing coverage of comprehensive and equal services" at the UN Public Services Forum 2019 held in Baku.
Azerbaijan has been successfully developing in the field of sustainable development for many years, gaining a lot of experience in this area," Karimov said.
According to him, the development of agriculture is a priority for the government.
"We are trying to introduce new methods of development, various support mechanisms and strive to subsidize agriculture, which is now exempted from taxes in Azerbaijan. Our task is to make agriculture transparent, simple and effective," the Minister said.
