Number of Nar’s 4G users reached 700 thousand

The number of 4G users of Nar, which has one of the largest 4G networks in the country, grows rapidly. During the past year the number of Nar’s 4G users increased twofold and reached 700 thousand. An increase in the number of 4G users was possible thanks to installation of new base stations across the country, bundles and tariffs offered by Nar, as well as the growth of 4G smartphone penetration. Thus, the number of smartphone users in Nar network in the past year increased by 23%.

Note that Nar provides its 4G service not only on the territory of Baku, but in central parts of country’s other cities and regions. 71% of Nar’s 4G users are residing in Baku, while 29% of them are living in regions. When compared to a relevant period of the last year, the number of 4G internet users in Baku and in regions increased by 95% and 120% respectively. Overall, 25% of Nar subscribers are users of 4G internet. Currently, Nar has more than 2.3 million users.
