Rain and hail expected in Azerbaijan tomorrow

Weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Report that the weather is expected to be changeable cloudy, mostly rainless in Baku and Absheron peninsula on August 27. However, short-term rain is expected in some parts of the peninsula in the morning. Moderate north-west wind will occasionally intensify.

The temperature will be 20-23 C at night, 28-31 C in the daytime, in Baku 21-23 C at night, 29-31 C in the afternoon. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 760 mm mercury column to 763 mm mercury column, relative humidity will be 65-75% at night and 40-50% during the day.

On the Absheron beaches, mild north-west wind will occasionally intensify. The sea water temperature will be 24-25 C on the northern beaches (Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba) and 25-26 C on the southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikh).

On August 27, the weather will be mainly rainless in the regions of Azerbaijan, but lightning and rain are expected in some northern and western regions at night and in the morning. Rain and hail are expected in some parts of the Greater Caucasus. It will be foggy in some places in the morning. West wind will occasionally intensify in some places.
