Azercell's Customer Service Centers and Mobile Customer Service continue their uninterrupted operation

Azercell's Customer Service Centers and Mobile Customer Service continue their uninterrupted operation
27.08.2020 07:38

The company served about 400,000 subscribers in Baku and the regions over the first seven months of the year

"Azercell Telecom” LLC provided uninterrupted service to its subscribers during the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the hard and hectic work schedule, the Customer Service Centers of the company continued to operate in the highest safety conditions, taking the necessary measures to protect the health of both customers and employees.

The number of customers served by Azercell Customer Service Centers in the first 7 months of the current year has exceeded 220,000 in Baku and about 180,000 in the regions of the country.

Taking into account the preventive measures applied in the country against coronavirus disease, Azercell offered alternative service channels for its customers to avoid crowded places. Thus, during the pandemic period, Azercell's Mobile Customer Service provided services at the customers’ address at their request. Over the 5-month period from March 1, 2020, to July 31, 2020, Azercell Mobile Customer Service has received about 700 appeals. More than 300 of them came from subscribers over 65 years old, to whom Azercell provided free services throughout the country.

It should be noted that during the strict quarantine regime, Azercell Customer Service offices worked in an enhanced mode, and in some cases, electronic queues were not applied to maintain distance among subscribers and provide services in a safer environment. Therefore, the real number of subscribers served in the Customer Service Centers during that period is much higher than mentioned.

Necessary measures have been taken at Azercell Customer Service Centers in Baku and the regions from the very first days of the pandemic: sanitizer dispensers have been installed for the use of service personnel and customers; all Customer Service Centers and Azercell offices, in general, are disinfected regularly, the temperature at the entrance to the offices is measured with a non-contact digital thermometer; employees in contact with customers in the offices and during mobile services are provided with protective masks and gloves.

In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 and protect the health of employees and customers, desk glass partitions have been installed in a number of Customer Service offices (located at 81 G. Garayev Ave., at B. Bagirova 2 and at H.Z. Tagiyev 26A). A tent was set up in front of the customer service center at B. Bagirova 2 to protect subscribers waiting in line on the street.

Azercell Telecom is ready to provide high-quality services to its customers in any conditions. However, in order to protect the health of subscribers, they are recommended to use remote service channels, including a multifunctional "Kabinetim" app and different platforms of Online Customer Services, and only upon necessity, apply to the Customer Service Centers.
