Teenagers will be vaccinated only in these cases-AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT

According to the decision taken today, taking into account the current epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan, the official permits of the European Medicines Agency, the American Food and Drug Administration for the introduction of Pfizer's mRNA vaccine to adolescents ("Comirnaty”), the Scientific Medical Council of the Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee of the TABIB have made a number of decisions. According to the decision, in exceptional cases, Pfizer's mRNA (Comirnaty) vaccine against Covid-19 will be administered to adolescents aged 16-18 years in the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, vaccination of adolescents aged 16-18 years will require a written application from one of the parents indicating the reason for vaccination and the written consent of both parents.
