Azerbaijani, Turkish ombudsmen visit Alleys of Honor and Martyrs in Baku

t the invitation of Azerbaijani Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, a delegation led by the President of the Ombudsman Association of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Turkish Ombudsman Seref Malkoc, OIC Secretary-General Yousef Bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, and Advisor to the Pakistani Ombudsman Muhammad Javed Ghani has arrived in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani, Turkish and Pakistani Ombudsman delegations visited the graves of national leader Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Alley of Honors.

They also commemorated the martyrs who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and visited the Baku Turkish Martyrs' Cemetery.

The IOC and Pakistan Ombudsman delegations have arrived in Azerbaijan to conduct a fact-finding mission in the liberated territories. Several official meetings are expected to be held during the visit, which will last until September 19.
