Ambassador Sergio Osvaldo Perez Gunella reveals purpose of visit to Nakhchivan

"As you know, we, ambassadors appointed to Azerbaijan, live in Baku. Our main activity center is in this city. However, we trip to other regions of the country to get to know them better. The primary purpose of the visits is to get acquainted with the history of the areas, the traditions, the culinary culture, to be interested in potential opportunities, and to strengthen possible cooperation," said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentine to Azerbaijan Sergio Osvaldo Perez Gunella.

"I also came to Nakhchivan for this purpose. During the two-day visit, I was able to get to know Nakhchivan better in the directions I mentioned, and my conclusion is that it is an awe-inspiring, beautiful, promising place. In general, I think that no verbal information can replace live contact. Because visiting an area and getting acquainted with it, communicating with people makes a greater contribution to strengthening ties," the Ambassador stressed.

The diplomat noted that they held some formal and informal meetings, met with the heads of higher authorities, and discussed future cooperation.
