Azerbaijan plans to increase additional benefits for servicemen on vacation

Azerbaijan may grant additional two months' salary to service members each year when they go on their next vacation.

This is reflected in the new bill "On the status of servicemen".

The rule will not apply to conscripts.

The new bill also stipulates that the transportation costs incurred by servicemen for their next vacation in the country with their family members and dependents will be reimbursed based on supporting documents (except for taxis).

Under the current law, servicemen (except for conscripts) are entitled to an additional monthly salary when they go on annual leave.
