Program of Milli Majlis Speaker's Russia visit announced

A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova will visit St. Petersburg, Russia, on November 24 to attend the 53rd plenary session of the CIS PA Council, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijani Parliament told journalists.

The delegation includes MPs Nizami Safarov, Anatoly Rafailov, Rufat Guliyev, Anar Mammadov, Rasim Musabayov, Tamam Jafarova, Chief of the Parliament's Staff Safa Mirzayev, and other officials.
The Speaker of the Milli Majlis will take part in the discussion of the issues on the agenda at the Council and plenary meetings of the organization and will express the position of the Azerbaijani side. During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation will participate in an international conference on universal access to health services and sustainable development.

The speaker is expected to meet with the heads of delegations to attend the event. The organization's future activities, prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary relations, and other issues of mutual interest will be discussed at these meetings.
