Prices of gas futures in Europe rise by 5.5%

Gas futures prices in Europe at the beginning of trading for the first time since early October exceeded $1,800 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is an increase of 5.5%, reported from the data of the London stock exchange ICE.

The price of January futures on the Dutch TTF index at the opening of the trading session approached the $1,800 mark and as of 11 a.m. (GMT+4) increased to $1,811.

Gas prices rose markedly on December 16, rising from a minimum of $1,450 to over $1,700 per 1,000 cubic meters
