Moscow: Russia contributed to normalization of ties between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Russia has made a significant contribution to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the foreign policy results in 2021.

It is noted that Moscow managed to create a bilateral commission on the delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

"Assistance has been provided in creating a bilateral commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and the opening of the economic and transport links in the South Caucasus. The first session of the 3+3 regional consultation platform took place in Moscow on December 10 in the 3+3 format," the statement reads.
