Azerbaijan imports $2.4 million worth of goods from Erzurum in 2021

In 2021, Azerbaijan imported $2.4 million worth of goods from Turkey's Erzurum province, 21.3% less than in 2020,reported from foreign media.

Exports to Azerbaijan accounted for 8.8% of Erzurum's total exports.

Throughout the reporting period, the largest exports from the region amounted to $6.5 million (Georgia). It was followed by Iran with $3.4 million, the Netherlands with $2.7 million, and Cameroon with $2.5 million.

Over this period, the share of Georgia in Erzurum's total exports was 22.9%, Iran 12%, Iraq 9.82%, the Netherlands 9.7%, and Cameroon 9.1%.

Last year, the region exported goods to a total of 47 countries. Exports to 17 of them increased compared to the previous year, exports to 20 countries decreased, while trade with the remaining 10 countries remained almost unchanged.
