Money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia decrease

In January 2022, $4.4 million was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia, down 17% from the previous year, reported from the National Bank of Georgia.

In the reporting period, the money transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.4 million, 27% higher than a year earlier.

Money transfers from abroad to Georgia amounted to $ 168.8 million, from Georgia to foreign counties totaled $23.3 million, respectively, up 12.7% and 35.3% from the previous year.
