EU ready to send Joint Investigation Teams to document war crimes in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen had a telephone conversation.

"I spoke with President Volodymyr Zelensky about the atrocious murder of civilians in Bucha and elsewhere in Ukraine.

The EU is ready to send Joint Investigation Teams to document war crimes in coordination with the Ukrainian Prosecutor General,” Ursula von der Leyen tweeted.

She added, "Europol [The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation] and Eurojust [EU Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation] will support.”
