Azerbaijan confirms 36 new COVID-19 cases, 2 died

Azerbaijan has recorded 36 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told journalists.

Meanwhile, 44 people recovered from the infection, and two patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 792,103 cases of infection, 782,084 recoveries, and 9,700 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 319 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 6,721,330 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 4,867 today.
