World Bank: Russian economy to shrink by 11.2% in 2022

The World Bank expects the Russian economy, "hit by the unprecedented sanctions" introduced by Western countries, to shrink by 11.2% this year, according to the updated forecast of the financial institution published on Sunday.

In general, as predicted by the financial institution, the total GDP of the countries of Europe and Central Asia in 2022 will decrease by 4.1%.
