Bulgarian PM says Azerbaijani gas will be profitable
16.05.2022 09:30
The Prime Minister of Bulgaria Kiril Petkov said that the price of natural gas from Azerbaijan would be profitable, reported from the Bulgarian press.

"The price of natural gas for May is 15% higher, but in June, it will be at the level of April. Azerbaijani gas has also been contracted and will be delivered on July 1, regardless of whether the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector is completed," he added.

According to the Prime Minister, the price was agreed at $26 per megawatt-hour for US gas, 100 euros per megawatt-hour for gas from Europe and 72 euros for Gazprom's gas.

Kiril Petkov said two US gas tankers are headed to Bulgaria and are expected to arrive on June 8 and 23.
