Russia sets new limit on money transfers abroad

On Monday, May 16, the Central Bank of Russia announced that it was raising the limit on transfers abroad by five times for individuals.

"From now on, residents of the Russian Federation will be able to withdraw to foreign accounts – both their own and third parties – up to 50,000 dollars a month (against 10,000 now),” the bank said.

The limits are valid until September 30, 2022.
