The house where Rasulzada found refuge after Soviet invasion - PHOTO

Mammad Amin Rasulzada, one of the founding fathers of the independent Azerbaijani state that existed for only two years (1918-1920), lived in this house in the village of Lahic in Ismayilli district, some 200 km north of Baku.
Rasulzada had to flee Baku after the capital was captured by the 11th army of the Soviet Russia in April 1920. He lived in this house for two years before being captured by the Bolshevik authorities.
Rasulzada wrote his famous book, “Asrimizin Siyavusu” (“Messenger of Our century”) in this house, which is now in ruins.
These pictures were taken by Naciba Bagirzada, who wrote a book about Razulzada, “Belated Revelation”.
