Baku store explosion kills one, injures several
An explosion in a store on the outskirts of the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, killed at least one and injured four others on October 8, RFE/RL reported.
Media reports say that at least one person remains trapped inside the building.
Firefighters had to extinguish a fire caused by the blast.
It is not clear what caused the explosion.
The store is based on the ground floor of a high-rise building, which itself was not damaged by the explosion or fire.
Baku Ambulance Center officials told RFE/RL that "many were injured and provided with first aid."
