Average monthly salary up by 14% in Azerbaijan

As of June 1, 2022, the number of the hired workers in the country's economy reached 1,706,000 people, of which 903,000 are employed in the public sector and 802,500 in the private sector, reported from the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

In January-May 2022, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the country increased by 14% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 825.3 manats ($485.76).
