Gas prices in Europe reach $2,180 per thousand cubic meters
Gas prices in Europe rose moderately on Tuesday and are still slightly below $2,200 per 1,000 cubic meters, reported from the London Stock Exchange ICE.
Futures contracts for the supply of gas in September (according to the TTF index) in the first minutes of the session were trading close to $2,050 per thousand cubic meters (-3.7% against Monday's settlement price of $2,128.1). Soon, the quotes moved to moderate growth and reached the price maximum of the first two hours of trading - $2,202.3 (+3.5%), and then fell in price to about $2,180 per thousand cubic meters (+2.5%).
