Payments for natural gas grow over 17% in Azerbaijan

In January-July this year, the level of payment for natural gas, sold by Azerbaijan's Azerigaz, amounted to 105.95%, said Rashad Javadov, deputy director-general for sales of Azerigaz Production Association of Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR).

He noted that this is 17.12% more than in the same period of 2021: "The level of payments in the population sector amounted to 104.55%, which is 1.41% less than in the same period last year. The level of payment in the non-residential sector amounted to 107.01%, which is 31.28% more than in the same period last year.”

Javadov also noted that the level of payments in July this year amounted to 114.29%, which is 5.06% more than in July 2021: "Last month, the level of payments in the population sector amounted to 170.61%, which is 30.69% more than in the same month last year. The level of payment in July in the non-residential sector was 99.28%, which is 2.06% less than in the same month last year.”
