British ambassador visits Alley of Martyrs in Baku

The newly appointed ambassador of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku.

"Today, I have come to Martyrs' Alley, to honor the memory of the heroes who died fighting against the Soviet troops for the freedom and independence of Azerbaijan," the envoy tweeted.

The new British ambassador arrived in Baku on August 31.
