Ursula von der Leyen: EC to present gas price reduction plan in October

The European Commission (EC) intends to submit a plan to reduce gas prices in the European Union to a certain level in the next two weeks. At the same time, these steps should not adversely affect the gas supply of the participating countries, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said at a press conference in Tallinn.

"In the next two weeks, we will come up with proposals on how to reduce energy prices and electricity prices. This must be done in such a way that the supply is not interrupted,” she said.
