Gas prices in Europe fall below $1,200

Gas futures in Europe showed stability on November 10 morning trading at November 9 settlement price, below $1,200 per 1,000 cubic meters, reported from the London Stock Exchange ICE.

December futures (according to the index of the largest European hub TTF) opened trading at $1,161.6 per 1,000 cubic meters (-1.2%). Then the cost of the gas futures was $1,183.9 (+0.7%). The settlement price of the previous trading day was $1,175.8 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Throughout October, gas prices with delivery next month generally showed a steady decline. Although in early November prices exceeded $1,400 per 1,000 cubic meters.
