Annual inflation in Azerbaijan close to 14%

Consumer price index made 113.7% in Azerbaijan during January-October of this year, as compared to the same period last year, reported from the State Statistics Committee.

The figure made 119.4% on consumer goods, beverage and tobacco wares, 107.9% on nonfoods, 110.4% on paid services provided to the population.

According to the information, last month alone the consumer price index made 101.6% compared to September and 121% compared to October last year.

Last month, the index of consumer prices on nonfoods reached 101.3% compared to the previous month and 110.9% compared to October last year. 

The consumer price index on paid services provided to the population in October made 100.9% compared to September and 112% compared to October last year.
