Turkiye hopes for Azerbaijan's participation in project of creation of gas hub

The implementation of the project of creation in Turkiye of the hub on the supplies of the Russian natural gas to Europe will turn it into the center of distribution and sale of energy sources. Ankara hopes for Azerbaijan's participation in the project, Turkish Minister of Energy Fatih Donmez said on the air of TV 24.
"Owing to the creation of the hub, we will become not only a distribution center but also the center of gas sales. There are countries that support us both in production of gas and its sale. Azerbaijan's participation in the project as a country-source of supplies would make us happy," the Turkish minister said.
He also announced the plans to hold the international conference in Istanbul in February next year, saying the consumers and suppliers of gas to Europe will be invited.
