Azerbaijan, Serbia mull prospects of energy cooperation

Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Serbian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Dragan Vladisavljevićdiscussed prospects for the export of electricity and natural gas.

Reported from the Ministry of Energy, that the sides touched upon the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the countries. They also stressed the important role of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Serbia, the signed joint statement and other documents that will contribute to the further development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia.

The sides also discussed current energy cooperation and future strategic goals.
