Stories, materials about 2,000 martyrs shown on Azerbaijani TV channels so far

Stories and materials about 2,000 martyrs have been aired on Azerbaijani TV channels so far, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council Ismat Sattarov said at a press conference following the results of the year.

The chairman recalled that about 3,000 people became martyrs in the Patriotic War and noted that the Council proposed a project to TV channels in connection with the preparation of stories and programs about these heroes: "Not a single martyr family should feel forgotten. As for monitoring reports on martyrs, stories and materials about 2,000 martyrs have been aired up to date. Work on the preparation of materials of this kind will further continue."
