Gas prices in Europe reach $470

Exchange prices for gas in Europe on March 16 slightly changed at the beginning of trading to the settlement price of the previous day ($470 per 1,000 cubic meters), reported from the London ICE exchange.

April (nearest) futures on the TTF index (the biggest hub in Europe located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $473.9 (+0.8%) per 1,000 cubic meters. Further, they grew to $476.7 (+1.4%). The dynamics of prices is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $470.3 per 1,000 cubic meters.
