TRT Haber: Türkiye seeks to cover 30% of gas consumption through production in Black Sea

Türkiye expects to cover 30% of its gas demand by 2026 through deposits in the Black Sea, reducing its dependence on imports, reported from TRT Haber.

"Türkiye's annual gas consumption is 55-60 billion cubic meters. The goal is to provide 30% of the consumed gas from the Black Sea field by 2026. Pumping domestic gas to the system is expected to further strengthen Türkiye's position in natural gas import contracts," the TV channel said.
