Over the past two years, about 6.5 billion manats ($3.823 billion) have been spent from Azerbaijan’s state budget to restore the territories liberated from occupation, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Tahir Mirkishili said at today’s meeting of the committee.

He noted that the report of the Accounts Chamber for 2022 reflects an audit of part of these funds.

"Last year, for the first time, the Accounts Chamber used a results-oriented budget model in reporting, and this is commendable,” Mirkishili said.

He added that 48 audits are planned in 2022, 46 of them have already been carried out.
