US willing to hold dialogue on strategic stability with Russia, China

The US is willing to hold a dialogue on strategic stability with Russia and China, Under Secretary of Energy for Nuclear Security and Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration Jill Hruby said.

She noted that Washington has begun developing technologies for verifying the latest weapons systems.

Such a project will strengthen the position of the US in the event of a dialogue on strategic stability with Russia and China, she said.

Earlier, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said that there were no prerequisites for a dialogue with the US on strategic stability.
