Bodies of 80 soldiers returned to Ukraine

Russia has returned the bodies of 80 servicemen to Ukraine, reads the message of Ukraine’s Ministry of Reintegration,  reported from Ukrainian media.

"Today, the bodies of 80 fallen defenders were returned home. The transfer of bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine took place with the assistance of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with law enforcement agencies,” the press service reported.

The transfer of the bodies of the servicemen is carried out in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Conventions. The bodies of the Ukrainian defenders will be handed over to their families for a decent burial.

On April 14, Ukraine returned the bodies of 82 soldiers.
