Exchange gas prices in Europe fall below $350

Gas prices in Europe fell about 3% during trading on May 18, reaching below $350 for the first time in almost two years,  reported from the data of the London ICE exchange.

Futures on the TTF index (Europe’s biggest hub located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $355.6 per 1,000 cubic meters (-0.6%), and then the price fell by 2.9% - below $350 per 1,000 cubic meters - for the first time since June 2021.

The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $357.8 per 1,000 cubic meters.
