Gas prices in Europe gain almost 4%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe rose by almost 4% on Wednesday after the opening of trading.

September (nearest) futures on the TTF index - the largest hub in Europe, located in the Netherlands - opened trading at $460.5 (+4.3 %). Further, the cost increased to $458.2 (+3.8%).

The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $441.5 per thousand cubic meters.
