Brent price reaches $78.21 per barrel

Oil prices changed slightly on Tuesday as investors are monitoring news from the Middle East, reported from Interfax.
March Brent futures rose in price on the London ICE Futures exchange by 6 cents (0.08%) to $78.21 per barrel.
February futures for WTI fell in price on the New York Mercantile Exchange NYMEX by $0.19 (0.26%) to $72.49 per barrel. WTI trading was not held on Monday due to the celebration of Martin Luther King Day in the United States.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported an attack on spy centers and "meetings of anti-Iran terrorist groups" near the Iraqi city of Erbil. According to ABC News, the IRGC hit eight targets near the US Consulate.
The Regional Security Council said the IRGC attack killed four civilians and wounded six others. There are no Americans among the victims.
The United States said it opposes Iran's "reckless missile attacks that undermine the stability of Iraq," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement.
In addition, on Monday, a missile fired by the Yemeni Houthis hit the American container ship Gibraltar Eagle, sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands. There were no casualties, and the ship did not suffer significant damage.
