Annual inflation in Azerbaijan nears 2%

In January 2024, the consumer price index in Azerbaijan amounted to 101.7% compared to January 2023, including 100.7% for food, drinks, and tobacco products, 101.7% for non-food products, and 103.2% for paid services provided to the population, reported from the State Statistics Committee.

Last month, the consumer price index in Azerbaijan amounted to 100.5% compared to the previous month.

In January, the consumer price index for food, beverages, and tobacco products was 101.1% compared to December 2023.

The consumer price index for non-food products in January was 100.1% compared to the previous month.

In January, the consumer price index for paid services to the population amounted to 100%, remaining unchanged in comparison to December 2023.
