Oil prices showed stability on April 3 morning after renewing their October highs the day before, reported from Interfax.

The cost of June futures for Brent on the London ICE Futures exchange amounted to $88.97 per barrel. This is $0.05 (0.06%) higher than the previous close.

On April 2, these contracts rose by $1.5 (1.7%) to $88.92 per barrel.

WTI oil futures for May in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell in price by $0.04 (0.05%) to $85.11 per barrel.

According to the results of previous trading, the cost of these contracts increased by $1.44 (1.7%) to $85.15 per barrel.

Both brands recently updated their highs since October 27 last year. This was also facilitated by increased geopolitical tensions after Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
