President Ilham Aliyev amends decree on state registration of legal entities

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the application of the law "On amendments to the law of Azerbaijan on state registration and the state register of legal entities" and "On amendments to the decree of the President of Azerbaijan on the application of the law of Azerbaijan on state registration and the state register of legal entities", Trend reports.

According to the decree, the powers of the relevant executive authority, provided for in Articles 5.8, 5-1.8, in the second sentence of Article 6.1.3, in Article 7.1.1, in the third, fourth (in all three cases), and fifth sentences of Article 7-2.1, in the second sentence of Article 7-2.4, and Article 11.3.2-1 of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On state registration and the state register of legal entities," are exercised by the President of Azerbaijan.

In Article 11.3.2-1 of this law, the term "body (institution)" refers to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In Article 5-1.8 and in the second sentence of Article 7-2.4 of this law, the term "body (institution)" refers to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In Article 5.8, the fourth (in the third case) and fifth sentences of Article 7-2.1 of this law, the term "body (institution)" refers to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan through the State Tax Service.

In the second sentence of Article 6.1.3, in Article 7.1.1, and in the third and fourth (in the first and second cases) sentences of Article 7-2.1 of this law, the term "body (institution)" refers to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The powers of the relevant executive authority provided for in Article 2 of law No. 1155-VIQD of Azerbaijan dated May 21, 2024, "On amendments to the law of Azerbaijan on state registration and the state register of legal entities," are exercised by the President of Azerbaijan.

In Article 2 of this law, the term "body (institution)" refers to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The Cabinet of Ministers, in accordance with Article 2 of Law No. 1155-VIQD of Azerbaijan dated May 21, 2024, "On amendments to the law of Azerbaijan on state registration and the state register of legal entities", must take appropriate measures related to the creation of the relevant information system of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, as well as address other issues arising from this law within six months.
