"Azercell Könüllüləri" continues its charitable initiatives

"Azercell Könüllüləri" (Azercell Volunteers) charitable organization reports its activities for the first half of 2024, reflecting its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and charity. 

One of the key initiatives was organizing ICT training sessions for the spouses of the Second Karabakh War martyrs. The aim was to equip them with the essential digital skills required in today’s job market. A total of 20 participants took part in the training sessions on "SMM-Design" and "Python basics conducted in collaboration with STEP IT Academy.  Upon completing the courses, participants were awarded certificates recognizing their new competencies. The list of candidates for these trainings was provided by "Zəfər" Public Association for Support of Martyrs’ Families.

In May 2024 "Azercell Könüllüləri" organized a blood donation campaign to support children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and leukemia. The two-day-long action was conducted by the professional medical staff of the Central Blood Bank, with the collected blood supplies donated to the Republician Thalassemia Center.

Throughout the year the "Azercell Könüllüləri" team extended support to low-income families in Baku and the regions. Additionally, in celebration of International Children's Day on June 1, "Azercell Könüllüləri" visited the "Nur" orphanage in Ramana and the "SOS Children's Village" in the Ahmedli settlement.
