Azerbaijan's gas exports to Europe surpass 8 billion cubic meters

In the first eight months of the year, Azerbaijan has exported 8.4 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe, the country's Energy Minister, Parviz Shahbazov said on X, according to the information.

Türkiye received 6.5 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas during the same period, while Georgia imported 1.5 billion cubic meters. 

In January-August, TANAP delivered 3.7 billion cubic meters of gas to Türkiye.

Compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, Azerbaijan's total gas exports have witnessed a growth of approximately 3.1% in the first eight months of 2024.
