Education resumes in Azerbaijan’s Shusha, Khankandi, and Khojaly

The new academic year for 2024-2025 begins today, September 16, in Azerbaijan. Education has resumed in the liberated cities of Shusha, Khankandi, and Khojaly.

According to the information , this year, the first class in general educational institutions will focus on the theme "Solidarity for the Green World.”

A total of 132,261 children have been admitted to the first grades, and 89,000 children have joined the preparatory groups.

Additionally, Karabakh University and Türkiye-Azerbaijan University are welcoming students for the first time at the higher education level this academic year.
