Azerbaijan and Italy discuss energy cooperation

Balababa Rzayev, chairman of the Azerenerji OJSC, met with Luca Di Gianfrancesco, the Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan. The sides discussed the cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan’s energy authorities, President Ilham Aliyev’s recent visit to Italy, and the contributions of this visit to the energy sector.

The meeting also covered the involvement of Italian companies, including Ansaldo Energia, in projects within Azerbaijan’s energy system, as well as potential future projects.
