Azerbaijan oil exports via BTC pipeline rise 6.8% in Jan-Feb

Azeri oil exports through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Georgia and Turkey rose by 6.8% year on year to 4.7 million tonnes in the first two months this year, the State Statistics Committee said on Monday.
The BTC pipeline is used to export oil from the Azeri, Chirag, and Guneshli oilfields operated by BP.
Azerbaijan's oil exports in the first two months totaled 6.3 million tonnes, about 74.9% of which was via the BTC pipeline.
The volume of transit oil through BTC rose to 842,900 tonnes in January-February this year, from 711.500 tonnes a year earlier.
