Kazakhstan central bank says no FX intervention for now

Kazakhstan's central bank is not yet intervening in the currency market, the bank said on Tuesday, but is monitoring the situation and stands ready to act if necessary.
The Kazakh tenge is under pressure from external factors, including increased demand for foreign currency from non-residents, the bank said.
It said it stood ready to act to prevent any destabilising moves in the exchange rate if necessary.
