Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan to hold Caspian naval drills

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will hold joint naval exercises, Caspian Breeze 2025, in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan’s defence ministry said on Thursday.

The drills will include joint navigation, response to asymmetric threats, rescue operations, and live-fire exercises. Azerbaijan will send two patrol ships, an auxiliary vessel, and coastal units.

The exercise aims to boost coordination and strengthen naval cooperation between the two countries.
