Zelensky invites Trump to visit Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on former U.S. President Donald Trump to visit Ukraine to witness firsthand the destruction caused by Russia’s invasion.

“Please, before making any decisions or entering into any negotiations, come and see the people, the civilians, the soldiers, the hospitals, the churches, the children,” Zelensky said in an interview with CBS's 60 Minutes.

Zelensky added that a visit would help Trump “understand what Putin has done.”
