BP-Azerbaijan is continuing operations at its offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities without disruption, despite temporary adverse weather conditions across Azerbaijan since April 15, the company’s spokesperson said on Wednesday.

“Our platforms and other infrastructure are designed and built to high safety standards, allowing them to operate in all weather conditions,” Tamam Bayatly, head of BP-Azerbaijan’s press office.

She added that BP and its partners follow specific operational protocols during periods of adverse weather and respond promptly based on advanced forecasts.

“In case of strong winds or other challenging conditions, we introduce restrictions on working at height, outdoor activities, crane operations, and adjust work plans accordingly,” Bayatly said.
